Almadormida - Recuerdos del día de mañana: Woodstock: three days of peace and music

En estos días se cumplen los cuarenta años del Festival de Woodstock, tres días de música, drogas, amor libre y una sensación de que una era se acababa y la siguiente comenzaba de manera primaveral, florida, sorprendente. Detrás del pacifismo y las flores un mundo en guerra, la de Vietnam se llevaba miles de norteamericanos y cientos de miles de vietnamitas por delante, una guerra de bloques y un preguntarse de los jóvenes por ese mundo de sus padres, el de las guerras, los holocaustos, la verguenza y el futuro muerto.

Era un mundo hippy que, luego, vivió terribles y enormes decepciones, la decepción de la revolución que no fue, que nunca fue, ya fuera porque solo fue espejismo y muerte, ya fuera porque solo fue terrorismo o dictadura. Una música que al final acabó y un tiempo de bonanza económica deseada por contraposición en los primeros cincuentas que inoculó un veneno de buenismo que acabó con la/s crisis de la energía de los setenta.

Pero todo eso fue después, en Woodstock entre el barro, el millón imprevisto de visitantes, las toneladas de basura, de heces, atascos, y de música, tremenda, terrible con ese fragos y chapaleo de lo importante pero casi improvisado con la música que marcaría los tiempos posteriores, con la sensación de tiempo comenzado, acordes comenzados, fraseos comenzados.

Aquellos tiempos quedaron atrás, el sentimiento vuelve con sinestésica esperanza en estos años y los promotores sueñan con otras reediciones como las de 1979, 1989,1994 y 1999 que les vuelva a llenar los bolsillos. Pero esos pasos, esas olas, esas ideas, esos tiempos y esas juventudes se han ido ahora todo es una consistente y melíflua masa viscosa y gris que todo lo hace parecido y, lo que es peor, comestible pero al menos nos queda el recuerdo no vivido de aquellos tiempos, aquellos días, aquellas músicas que conformaron el mejor concierto de la historia.
